Recently, I came across a poem written by Lee, Hae In, a woman battling cancer.
The title is called "Certain Determination."
《Certain Determination》
When the heart aches
마음이 아플때 나는 하루 하루씩 살기로 결심했습니다.
I am determined to live day by day
When the body aches
몸이 아플때 나는 순간 순간을 살기로 결심했습니다.
I am determined to live moment by moment
I remember the thing that are thankful
나는 사랑스러웠던 것들을 모으고 감사하는 것들을 생각합니다.
Recollect the things that are lovely
Whatever the circumstance
어떤 환경에서든 남을 비난하지 않기로 결심했습니다.
I am determined not to blame others
In quietness I reflect on myself
침묵속에서 내가 갖는 하루과 내 자신을 곰곰히 생각해 봅니다.
Each day that I have
I consider it a lifetime
Much happiness
내가 삶을 그렇게 바라볼때 나를 향해 더 많은 행복이 다가왔습니다.
