James 5:13~20

사건보다 사건에 대한 해석이, 반응이 중요하다.
4가지 사건앞에서 성숙하게 반응

1. When hardship comes, respond biblically.
1) When hardship comes, respond it with joy.
James 1:2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds.
James 1:3~4 because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Preseverance must finsh its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

2) When hardship comes, respond it with patience.
James 5:10 Brothers, as an example of patience in the face of suffering,take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord.
고난의 신비는 고난의 양을 채울때 축복으로 바뀝니다.
조개안의 상처가 진주가 되는 과정.

3) When hardship comes, respond it with prayer.
James 5:13 Is anyone of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise.
James 5:12 Above all, my brothers, do not swear--not by heaven or by earth or by anything else, Let your "Yes" be yes, and your "No," no, or you will be condemned.

2. When you are happy, respond it with praise.
즐거워하는 일이 있어야 한다.
인간의 즐거움 중에 하나는 인간의 본능중에 하나를 잘하면 즐겁다.

3. When sickness finds you, respond it with prayer.
James 5:14,15 Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will reaise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven.
John 11:4
When he heard this, Jesus said, "This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God's glory so that God's Son may be glorified through it."
1) Invite prayerful spiritual leaders.
2) Anoint the oil in the name of the Lord and pray.
3) Offer prayer in faith.
엘리야는 기대하며 구체적으로 기도했습니다.
4) Confess sins to each other and pray for healing.
회개기도가 중요.

4. When you meet a person who left the truth, respond with evengelism.

Meditate on the scriptures daily so that you can respond maturely.
사건발생-짜증, 내가 왜, 욕, 원망 = 부정적반응
사건발생-자극 = 좋은 반응.
There's a room for new potential in stimulation and in response, and in between them." -조신영 쿠션-비젼과 리더십.
There's only 10% of subjective truth in life. The remaining 90% is about how each person responds to them. We all have freedom to choose our personal responses in each situation."

어떤 반응을 선택하느냐에 따라 위대해지거나, 비참해지거나.

기도, 큐티, 고요한 마음의 상태, 말씀!
영혼이 가장 건강한 상태는 마음이 온유한 상태! 그럼 어떤 자극이 와도 짜증내지 않고 고요해진다.

게임은 끝나지 않았다.
고난의 벼랑끝에서 하나님께서 기적을 행하신다.
부정적으로 해석하지 말고 조금 더 기다려 보라.
어떤 사건을 만나도 망했다고 해석하지 말라.
아직 결론내지 말라.
기도하는 중에, 하나님을 앙망하면 하나님께서 일하신다.
말 조심하고, 원망하지 말고.

고난 속에 하나님께서 비밀을 담아두셨습니다.

Kind of insomnia? Jet lag?
I can tell I'm quite sensitive now. Especially when I can't sleep enough.
Trying to surfing the internet doesn't make me sleepy either.
I can't feel free to use internet. I feel like staying in a cave where is not connected to the world I want to sail.

Trying to read three books I brought from Korea - Talent and Spiritual Maturity, A Woman Who Knows the rule of Baseball and As much as A Rat's Tail about Korean Slang - I don't want to know korean slang now and I don't want to know about the rules of baseball or any other sports which I was not interested. especially in this mood.
because of kind of headache, when sleeping hrs is not enough.

05:25 A.M. oh my gosh!
I will not try to sleep anymore.
let me fight with jet lag.
My counselor said to me once, "Don't fight with the time, just enjoy your time whatever u want to do" though.
I don't know.
I should have brought thick and heavy books which is written by Joon Min, Kang.--;
Talent and Spiritual Maturity which was too short and thin made me wait for his next book.
please next book will be like encyclopedia, then I will be happy to read his book without worrying about finishing his book for a while. 
Meeting to read his books everytime is one of my blessing as I meet a guy in USA every vacations.

Terribly miss him.
can't make anything with him now though.
what I only do my best for him now, I am a prayer for him.

How to prepare the future?
James 4:13, 14
Now listen, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money." Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. what is your life? you are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.
15 Instead, you ought to say,
"if it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this or that."

계획은 세우되 영원한 미래를 위해 준비하고, 하나님의 뜻이 들어가고 하나님이 원하시는 바가 들어가야 한다.

1. in order to prepare for the future well, we must understand the meaning of life.
1) Life is hard. 것을 알고 받아들여라. 그럼 인생이 쉬워진다.
James1:2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds,
수험생이 시험을 잘 준비하면 시험치르는 날이 두렵지 않다.

2) Life is unpredictable.
준비를 잘해야 한다. 상황이 바뀌더라도 얼마든지 대처할수 있는 flexiblity가 필요하다.
예측못하는 어떤 일이 생길수도 있다 생각하고.

3) Life is short.
후회없이, 사랑을 베풀고 싶습니까? 지금 하세요.
남은 인생이 30일 이라면 무엇에 집중할까?
똑같은 시간을 값지게 살수도 있고. 인생은 누구나 시한부 인생.

4) in Life, we reap what we sow.
인생은 공평하지 않지만 심은것은 반드시 거둔다.
나쁜 씨앗을 심고 좋은 열매를 거둘거라 기대하는 것은 어리석은 사람입니다.

James 5:7
Be patient, then, brothers, until the Lord's coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains.

Galatians 6:7,8
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

2. God wants us to prepare for the future well. => 有備無患
성령충만으로 준비시키고.
"Not preparing for anything is the greatest sin of all, but being prepared for all the possibilities is greatest virtue of all." - Sun Zi

1) God prepares us for the future by making us dream.
2) God prepared us for the future by teaching us wisdom.
하나님을 경외하는 것이 지혜의 근본.
공경, 존경, 순종, 존중의 원리= 일생동안 축복받는다.

3) God prepares us for the future through repetive learning.
Deuteronomy 4:6
surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.
교육이 중요하다.
Deuteronomy 6:5~9
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when yo get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.

4. God prepares us for the future through the hardships.

5. Plan your future with God.

Plan as if you will live for eternity, love as if you will die tomorrow.

 The Lord's prayer is the prayer that we offer up daily. If there is a prayer that I want to keep close to my side along with the Lord's prayer, it would have to be Peace Prayer of St. Francis. The Peace Prayer is short but it is a prayer that contains the hope of all humanity. There is a reason why I'm including St. Francis' prayer on this pastorate letter. Because some of you have never kept this prayer near to your heart. Pray unto God while keeping your heart near to the prayer that seeks for peace. The peace of the Lord will nestle in your heart.

 

          Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;

 

          Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
          where there is injury, pardon:
          where there is doubt, faith ;
          where there is despair, hope
          where there is darkness, light
          where there is sadness, joy

 

          Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;

          For it is in giving that we receive,

I came back from watching "Prince of Persia".
Before I went to movie theather, on the way theater, watching movie and coming back to home, I've been thinking of you.
well, it means u've been with me, doesn't it?

It's getting closer to see you because the time keeps going without breaking even while I'm sleeping.
I remember your saying about Etouffee which u r going to cook.
What kinds of taste will be....I wonder.
But what I already know exactly is great and awesome taste would be.
Such as moisturized chocolate cookies, chocolate cakes is made of Devils Food, manecotti and spicy sth which we ate with one bowl, dipping bread( I forgot the name, sorry). And I 'd like to eat Belgian Waffles over there.

1. 진실되게, 거짓없이 = 교제의 단계속에서 솔직히 말하기
있는 그대로 솔직히 말해서 빨리 회복 되게.
밝히고 싶지 않은 아픔을 누군가에게 조언을 구한다는 것은, 이미 사랑하고 있기 때문이다.
현장속에서는 달라진다.

2. 분노를 적절히 처리하는가
분노가 굳지 않게 내일까지.
분노하지 말고 상대방이 고통스러워하는구나, 품어주는 것.

3. 혀 조심
살리는 말
살리지 못하는 것은 말하지 않는 것이 좋다.
말은 정중해야 한다. 존대말 쓰기.
정직은 사실을 다 말하는 것이 아니다.

4. 잘해줘라


하나님의 뜻 = 내 관심사, 개성, 인격이 없어지는 것이 아니다.
1. 현실
2. 갈등
3. 불확실성
 이것들을 붙들고 투쟁할줄 알아야 하나님의 뜻을 알수 있다.

1. 현실 = 현실과 부딪치지 않고 어떻게 알수 있는가.
사도행전 13:36
for when David had served God's purpose in his own generation
하나님께서 이 현실속에서 나에게 두신 뜻은 무엇인가.
(내가 봐도 준비가 되어있지 않았다 마인드는)

2. 긴장, 갈등
아브라함과 사라의 절망의 상황, 긴장.
하나님의 나라와 사람의 나라를 나누는 것.
세상논리로 하면 갈등이 없다.
긴장속에 들어갈줄 알아야 한다.
needs tension!
When I'm in tension, I have Lord's will.
If there's no tension or no conflict, I can't find Lord's will

3. uncertainity
불확실함 속에서 하나님의 뜻을 깨닫는다.
인간은 안전한 길로 가려고만 한다.
자기 노후, 자기 자식...노후까지 생각한다.
근데 50억 갖고서 돈 가지고도 고민한다.
어리석은 부자 : 불확실성을 제거하고 확실성으로 나아가려는 행동.
the rich who are insane want to remove uncertain, and then they want to go forward certainity.
when people feel safe, can be lazy.
불확실하기 때문에 하나님을 붙들게 된다.
Because of uncertainiy, can hold and count on HF.

내 집주인은 하나님! 주인을 모르면 안되죠?
죄인에게는 재앙이 쫒아다니고
의인에게는 복이 따라다닌다.
들어가도 나가도 복이 따라다닌다.

뱀처럼 지혜롭고
비둘기처럼 순결하라

이방인에게서 배우지 말아야 할것!

 잘못된 신관.(우상 섬기는 것) 잘못된 유물론적 가치관.
오직 구원은 예수님을 통해서만 이루어진다.
이방인들은 우상을 하나님이라고 생각한다.
하늘의 징조를 두려워한다.
세상인들은 징조를 더 두려워한다.

일반사람들도 선한 지혜를 가진 사람이 있습니다.
세상사람들이 가진 것에는 한계가 있지만 좋은 건 좋은겁니다.
세상사람들은 자신들의 명철을 자랑하지만
그 명철과 그 부요와 권력이 오래가지 못합니다.
정말 우리를 부요하게 하는 것은 하나님은 전능하시고 그 이름이 위대하시다는 것을 아는 것입니다.

하나님께서 지혜를 예비해놓고 계신다. 주려고.
어떤사람에게? 지혜의 원천이 하나님이신 걸 아는 사람에게.
그 지혜를 하나님께 나아가서 구하면.
하나님에 대한 지식과 명철(깨달음), 지혜를 구해야한다.

4. if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure

7. he holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless

8. for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones

9. then you will understand what is right and just and fair-every good path.

10. For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.

11. Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you.


3:13 Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gains understanding

3 By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established;

하나님 찾으면 형통합니다.

하나님의 섭리입니다.

Wisdom to possess of true faith

1. wisdom is being thoroughly aware of the importance of true faith.

1) the object of faith is God.
2) the content of faith is the word of promise.
3) the means of faith is the obedience to the Word of God.
믿음은 하나님의 말씀에 순종으로 반응하는 것입니다.
구하라 그리하면 주실것이요. 찾으라 그리하면 찾을 것이라.
두드리라 그러면 열릴것이다.
4) the purpose of faith is to give glory to God.
5) Faith grows as it passes through the trials.
고난중에 하나님의 뜻을 알고 잘 인내하는 사람, 믿음이 좋은 사람.
바랄수 없는 상황에서, 전혀 불가능해 보이는 상황에서 하나님을 붙잡고 바라볼때 축복이 나타납니다.
6) faith becomes stronger through endurance.
어려울때 물러서지 않고 견디는 것.
견딤이 있어야 쓰임이 있는 것.
견딤이 있어야지 즐김이 있는 것.
운동선수-훈련한 선수들이 경기를 즐김.
당신의 경쟁자보다 조금 더, 적보다 조금 더, 견디라. 거기에 승리의 비결이 있다.
7) the resulf of faith is receiving the reward.
믿음의 상급은 믿은 것을 보게 되는 것입니다.
믿으면 보리라!
믿음은 바라는 것들의 실상이요 보이지 않는 것들의 증거니라.
믿음의 가장 큰 상급은 하나님 자신입니다.

2. True faith is balanced faith.
믿으면 행함이 따라온다.
1) true faith is not just words.
2) true faith is not just feels.
3) true faith is revealed outwardly.
4) true faith is in transformation, not in accumulation of knowledge.
5) true faith is in action.
믿음의 위기는 중간에 포기할려고 할때에 있다.

mature faith is the faith expressed through love.
믿음은 과거를 청산하는 능력입니다.
믿음은 새역사를 창조하는 능력입니다.
믿음은 모험하는 능력입니다.
믿음은 인내하는 능력입니다.
믿음은 명문가를 세우는 능력입니다.
